  3. I miss Alaska sooooo much, except that one February when I was waiting at the bus stop and it was minus 72! other than that I’d sneak out the house in the night when the sun was always shining , all over again during the summer months:))) what a naughty native I was!

  4. i lived in anchorage for the first 10 years of my life and i miss it soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much, i am tired of living in the D.C. area. i want to move back to Alaska… or Germany.

  5. COMING SOON: COAL STRIP MINING-: Canadian & texan leases- about sixty thousand acres, much of it coastal, riverfront, and wetlands, will yield an estimated 1 billion tons of low-quality sub-bituminous coal, to be be strip mined, crushed (dust to Anch) shipped to Asia, burned & returned to Alaska as acid and particulates. Chuitna coal mine would be the largest in the state, and the FIRST large-scale mining operation in Alaska to be permitted to mine directly THROUGH a productive salmon stream
