Question by reica: Going to Alaska cruise, which month of the year has the most rain, during May & June or September?
We are thinking of going to 7 days Alaska Cruise either Northbound or Southbound but we are not sure which is the best month to go to avoid rain.

September will be the coldest with the most rain, however May & June still has a chance for rain, but I’d say the best time is June, it’s the prettiest. (I take it you mean next year, otherwise, July is usually spectacular too!)

For many years, Sarah Palin attended a church that preaches that Alaska will be a refuge for Christians during the end times. When she and her new boyfriend John start World War III by attacking Russia, will that start the end times? Should I move to Alaska now? or wait until after the election. I’m scared. What EXACTLY happens to cause this? Is unique to Alaska? What other habitable places does this? Exactly how many hours/days of sunlight do Alaska get during the winter?

The earth’s axis of rotation is tilted. In the summer it is pointing towards the sun and northern regions have very long days. In the winter it is on the exact opposite side of the sun and now tilts away. This causes long nights. The same thing happens in the southern polar regions, but in exactly the opposite order. Christmas comes in the middle of summer in Australia.
