Try The Cruise Line Ltd. I have used them twice now and I love them. They are an online travel agent but they will beat any price you find, so shop around first and then book with them. You’ll get one on one service over the phone, and they are very knowledgeable. Their website is listed below. I’ve also listed several sites that are good for checking out prices.

Can I as a minor travel to Canada?

Question by tpirocchi: Can I as a minor travel to Canada?
I wish to take a road trip across Canada extending into Alaska along the Alaskan Marine Highway, sadly i will not turn 18 until the trip is complete, I am however going with a friend who will be 18 at the time, is there any legal issue with first – him taking me, and second me crossing the border, also I have my guardians permission to travel.

Alaska ferry boat sailing the Inside Passage of Southern Alaska. The AK ferry terminal is some distance out of town. u can see majestic mountains and blue on blue as she sets out to more open waters. On this ride, I was taking our car and some things from Skagway to Ketchikan in South Alaska. The Marine Highway is just about the only way to go, though u can also ship the car and fly, maybe some get there that way. Others have their own boats. Boating in AK waters is a big deal, in swift currents, if u fall in the water it can be fatal in a couple of minutes. Huge amount of boating fatalities are from guys falling into the water. even with the flotation vest, just a couple of minutes and that’s that.

World champion big wave surfers, Garrett McNamara and Kealii Mamala rode into surfing history last week when they towed into a monster tsunami created by Child’s Glacier in South-Central Alaska. The creator/producer, Ryan Casey, “disovered” the wave in 1995, while on location shooting in Alaska. Then after finishing his last film, Quest, a documentary on big wave surfing, he showed Garrett the wave… that was six months ago. So after a short scout in June, we went up in August to film this… For more information contact: info@deepwaterfilms or Ryan @ ryanmayrcasey@hotmail.com
